What I do?

As a Commercial and Editorial Portrait Photographer, it's my job to take photographs of individuals and groups in various settings and for diverse purposes.

I work from my studio in Mid-Devon, which is accessible from Plymouth and Exeter. It is my job to capture each individual’s features, using my extensive knowledge of lighting and techniques.

Commercial Portraiture covers anything that is used to promote a company, whereas Editorial Portraiture covers anything not directly promoting the company/individual, usually for the purpose of accompanying an article or blog post.

I also travel to locations and work off site, such as at corporate offices to take photographs of employees for everything from annual reports to promotional literature.

Headshots

I work with actors/actresses and musicians, giving them pictures of themselves that they send to agencies and submit to casting directors when they are trying out for roles.

How it Works?

I meet first with clients to discuss the types of photography needed and the style (i.e., glamorous, direct), and how the photographs will be used. With shoots like headshots I try and suggest styles of clothing and colours people should wear, based on their hair colour, skin tones, and the types of photograph that will be created. Certain colours will contrast better in black-and-white as opposed to colour, so this can play a big part in how the pictures will appear.

Image Archiving

We can archive digital and print images securely and quickly. They can be archived off site in our secure location or archived and delivered back to you.
